Position Description:
Technical Lead
In the role of a Technical Manager candidate will have the ability to formulate, guide, and review technical approaches/ solutions and provide alternative solutions as needed to address performance/ cost/ etc. Application architecture background is a plus.
A person that has technical lead and manager experience; who has a very strong development background, but also management experience and expertise. It will be someone that has to assist with the technical solutions that we put forth as a product; participate in reviews and help with the technical direction; assist and help juggle multiple technical tasks; manage as needed a diverse staff including remote and offshore.
Essential Skills:
Solid understanding of the entire lifecycle of IT development projects, as well as software development methodologies
Knowledge of project management principles and processes which span the enterprise, particularly the creation and maintenance of a project plan and schedule using MS Project
Strong team building and facilitation skills, including leading meetings, presentation skills, problem resolution/mediation
Exceptional communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills
Ability to interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels
Excellent organizational skill and strong initiative to help solve problems and eliminate roadblocks as well as embraces change and can adapt easily to changing priorities
Experience with Object Oriented Programming (e.g. java)
Strong knowledge of enterprise size applications, including architecture, performance, scaling, etc.
General experience with DBMS; SQL Server, Oracle, and DB2
General experience with Application Operational and Maintenance processes
General experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server and HTTP Server
Understanding of general enterprise infrastructure, including network and storage, and able to communicate with technical experts in these fields
Strong knowledge using office productivity tools (e.g., Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Non Essential Skills:

Ability to work with a team that is not physically present; will be working with people remote in the US, and working with people in India
Versata design studio experience
General experience with Advantage ERP Suite architecture and development
General experience with Adobe Central Output Server
General experience with Pervasive Data Integrator (ETL tool)
General experience with Business Objects
General experience with MicroFocus COBOL
General experience with Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP)

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
