Summary:
UAS Student Housing is hiring Guest Service Assistant's for the Summer 2022 academic semester.
Guest Service Assistant (GSA) is a live-in paraprofessional staff member that serves as a positive leader and peer role model within the Housing and greater campus community.
This position is expected to be placed within the main housing complex.
Being an GSA is a great way to improve your marketable skills for future employment, such as those pertaining to public speaking, customer service, conflict mediation, critical thinking and problem-solving, time management, and administrative ability.
This position's benefits include provided housing at no cost and 40 weekly hours for administrative tasks.

UA student enrolled full-time, 12 credit hours throughout employment duration.
Maintains a 2.
5 cumulative GPA throughout employment period.

Demonstrated leadership and/or peer assistance skills.

Required Education or Training:
Must have current student status for Fall 2023 semester with at least 6 credits.
Minimum 2.
0 cumulative GPA is required at time of application and throughout employment Preference given to candidates with a 2.
5 cumulative GPA Must be in good conduct standing with UAS Student Housing Training is provided to all student staff of Student Housing.
This training includes; participation in new student employee orientation facilitated by campus partners in Career Service and Human Resources, paid training periods prior to the beginning of each academic semester, continued training through weekly one-on-one meetings with direct supervisors, weekly staff meetings which may include in-service training.
Salary Information:
This is a full-time, 4 month, non-exempt student position.
New hires will be placed at Student Assistant 2, Step 1, based on education and experience.
