What You Will Be Doing:
The Employment Services Technician 1 assists a widely diverse customer base, including job seekers and employers, with identifying and resolving potential obstacles to employment; developing and obtaining career goals through career planning, researching labor market information; and referrals to employment, partners, and community resources.
The Employment Services Technician uses critical thinking skills, presentation and public speaking skills, problem-solving skills, conflict resolution skills, coaching skills, and independent work strategies while utilizing a variety of computer databases and software.

This position may require local travel on a limited basis to conduct services or to attend training.
A state vehicle is available to schedule and use.
