15Job Description ATTENTION DEPARTMENT EMPLOYEES!The Department of Labor and Workforce Development, Division of Employment and Training Services, is recruiting for an Unemployment Insurance Technician 2 located in Juneau!The position is in the General Government Unit (GGU) at a range 15.
What You Will Be Doing:
The UI Technician 2 acts as a journey level mentor, coach, and team leader to advance level UI Technician 1 and newly hired employees.
Provides on-the-job training to entry level team members until they become fully successful in their job.
This involves assigning and reviewing work, critiquing phone calls, and reviewing eligibility decisions to ensure they meet state and federal quality standards.

This position acts as an intermediary between UI Technician 1s and UI Technician 3s.

Minimum Qualifications One year of experience as an Unemployment Insurance Technician 1 with the State of Alaska or the equivalent elsewhere.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
