12-month 5G Radio Performance Intern

Join us as a 12-month Radio Performance Intern on our 5G Radio Performance team in Ottawa, Canada to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.
What You'll Achieve Working with a highly skilled team in a hands-on environment, you will contribute to the optimization of Dell's 5G radio by helping execute laboratory investigations to learn and prove out system behaviors.
You will contribute to developing functional and non-functional requirements derived from industry specifications, as well as strategic and advanced feature development initiatives.
In our team you will have the opportunity to gain valuable expertise in 5G radio systems while working with highly skilled mentors.
You will:
Learn 5G Radio architecture design and the laboratory tools for RF performance measurements Execute laboratory investigations to inform the systems design of our 5G radios Contribute to Python scripts for automating the collection of experimental data Organize and clearly communicate investigation status verbally and through documentation Closer to the end of your term, you will share knowledge with other teams (SW, HW, FPGA) and help onboard incoming interns Take the first step towards your dream career Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table.
Here's what we are looking for with this role:
Essential Requirements 3rd- or 4th-year student in electrical engineering Co-op program interested in wireless communication technology Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to grow and quickly acquire new knowledge Hardworking and self-starting Good written and verbal technical communication skills Preference for teamwork over individual tasks Desirable Requirements Experience with RF communications lab equipment e.
